Our Team


Debbie Dumas is the Director of Business Development for Entertainment, and has owned a publishing entity with key personnel who have the relationships and the ability to acquire administration contracts with independent songwriters, as well as tap into the niche market of advertising, film and television publishing and synchronization uses. She has recently signed a deal with Four Jays Music to handle the Oscar award-winning Harry Warren Catalog and a host of independent songwriters and composers catalogs.

Ms. Dumas has over 25 years in the entertainment industry. She began as a DJ for Drexel University's radio station WKDU, and later moved to California to work as National Promotion Manager for Contemporary Records. In 1988, she became National Promotion Manager for MCA Records, Universal. She became involved with ad agencies, film and television productions, and pitched artists' music for movie soundtracks, TV pilots, and primetime shows and advertisement campaigns. She also worked as an outside consultant and initiated a three-phase mass marketing design and multi-media launch for Motown's Mojazz label.

In 1993, Ms. Dumas became a part of Sony Music's Soundtrack and A&R department where she worked along side the legendary Maureen Crowe, music supervisor for "The Body Guard". She worked on projects such as Bad Boys, Devil In A Blue Dress, The Mask, Now and Then, and also had the responsibilities of coordinating recordings, promotions and advertising for Wynton Marsalis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Neena Freelon.

Ms. Dumas also received a platinum album award for her work on the soundtrack "My Best Friends Wedding", Jamiroquai's album "Traveling Without Moving" and Fiona Apple's first release on The Work Group at Sony Music. Ms. Dumas has worked with renowned executive producers Jeff Ayeroff and Jordan Harris. She also helped Product Manage Fiona Apple, Diana King, Jamiroquai, (Brownstone, and the Soundtrack of My Best Friend's Wedding.

Ms. Dumas received a B.A. in Mathematics from Drexel University.
