Our Team: Silke Riegel
Ms. Riegel is the Director of Administration and Research for PCT Companies, providing firm-wide operational support and coordinating all firm functions and events.
Prior to joining PCT Government Relations, Ms. Riegel was an intellectual property expert services analyst in the San Francisco and DC Metro offices of Ocean Tomo, LLC - an IP investment bank. While there, she evaluated and analyzed financial data in order to quantify compensatory damages for expert witnesses in large-stakes intellectual property lawsuits. Ms. Riegel has years of experience performing research to shape and verify expert witness opinions, and to prepare expert reports and trial presentations. Ms. Riegel also has experience drafting survey questionnaires, coding and analyzing survey results and assisting in the writing of survey expert reports for trademark and other IP litigation. She was chosen to assist in the establishing of Ocean Tomo's DC Metro office and instrumental in growing the office by providing administrative, hiring and training support to the office's managing director.
Ms. Riegel received a B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from The University of Nevada at Las Vegas. She is fluent in German.
