Scott Elkins

Scott is a genuine, curious, and nimble investor who works hard to compound capital. Scott has built teams and led investments that generated billions of dollars in distributions.

Scott’s notable investments include Fisher Investments, Great Day Improvements, Copeland, Hub International, Blackstone, Apollo, Citadel, Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT), Finicity (sold to MasterCard), Abuv Media (sold to H-E), and Arizant (sold to 3M).

Scott is the Founder and Principal of the private capital firm, PCT Capital. PCT Capital is dedicated to partnerships that drive long-term growth and value.

Scott previously served as the Chief Investment Officer at Dan and Jennifer Gilbert’s family office, Rock. Scott built the investment team and fixed income and equity portfolio. Scott also sourced and led special access investments in financial services, digital consumer, and home product sectors.

Scott, alongside the CEO and CFO, led Rocket Companies’ $2.1B IPO on the NYSE at a $36B valuation and subsequent $500M secondary sale at a $50B valuation. Scott also helped Rocket Mortgage arrange its first $1B unsecured revolving credit line and position its first cash flow-based $2B unsecured note offering.

Scott led dozens of affiliate acquisitions and divestitures, e.g. Rocket Money fka Truebill, Core Digital Media, OpenHouse, CloseSimple, Rocket Fiber, Cyclops, Nexsys. Additionally, Scott introduced strategic partners, including Finicity, Plaid, Infrrd, Instabase, Redfin, Realtor.com, Zillow, Mr. Cooper, Airbnb, Expedia, State Farm, American Express.

Before joining Rock and its affiliates, Scott worked for a decade at private equity and investment banking firms in New York, including Quadrangle Group, CVC Equity Partners, and CSFB Technology Mergers & Acquisitions.
