Scott Elkins
Scott is a genuine, curious, and nimble investor focused on compounding capital over the long term. He has built teams and led investments that have generated billions of dollars in distributions.
Scott is the Founder and General Partner of PCT Capital, a private investment firm dedicated to partnerships that drive long‑term growth and value. At PCT Capital, he leads direct and co‑investments alongside top‑tier private equity and hedge fund managers, concentrating on high‑conviction opportunities.
Over his career, Scott’s select investments include Fisher Investments, CVC, Silver Lake Partners, Blackstone, Great Day Improvements, Copeland, Hub International, Apollo, Citadel, Rocket Companies, Finicity (sold to MasterCard), Abuv Media (sold to H‑E), and Arizant (sold to 3M).
Scott previously served as Chief Investment Officer at Dan and Jennifer Gilbert’s family office, Rock, and at Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT). Working closely with the CEO and CFO, he led Rocket Companies’ $2.1 billion IPO on the NYSE at a $36 billion valuation and a subsequent $500 million secondary sale at a $50 billion valuation. He also led dozens of affiliate acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
Earlier in his career, Scott spent a decade in New York at private equity and investment banking firms, including Quadrangle Group, CVC Equity Partners, and CSFB Technology Mergers & Acquisitions.
