Scott Elkins

Scott is an investor focused on compounding capital over the long term. He has built teams and led investments that have generated billions of dollars in distributions across private and public markets.

Scott is the Founder and Managing Member of PCT Capital, a private investment platform focused on high-conviction, long-term investments. PCT manages a concentrated pool of capital from a group of aligned family offices, business owners, and operators. At PCT, he leads direct investments and co-investments in high-quality businesses, as well as selective partnerships with leading private equity and hedge fund managers.

Over his career, Scott has invested in leading businesses including Fisher Investments, Copeland, Apollo (NYSE: APO), Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT), Finicity (sold to MasterCard), ABUV Media (sold to Higher Ed), and Arizant (sold to 3M), as well as in investment firms including CVC, Silver Lake, Blackstone, and Citadel.

Scott previously served as Chief Investment Officer at Dan and Jennifer Gilbert’s family office, Rock, and at Rocket Companies. Working closely with the CEO and CFO, he led Rocket Companies’ $2.1 billion IPO on the NYSE at a $36 billion valuation and a subsequent $500 million secondary sale at a $50 billion valuation. He also led dozens of affiliate acquisitions, divestitures, financings, and strategic partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Scott spent a decade in New York at private equity and investment banking firms, including Quadrangle Group, CVC Equity Partners, and CSFB Technology Mergers & Acquisitions.

He holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Washington.
